Text Styling Tips
Use contrast: White text with a dark background box works on almost any video. If your video is light, try dark text with a light background instead.

Position wisely: Bottom-center is the standard position for subtitles. Use top or center for titles, announcements, or watermarks.

Can I add text at a specific time?
Currently the text overlay appears for the entire duration of the video. For time-specific text overlays, consider using our Video Generation API which offers full timeline control.
Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens 100% in your browser using FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. Your video files never leave your device.
Will there be a watermark?
No. There is no watermark added to your video. The output is clean with only the text you specified.
What is the maximum file size?
The maximum file size is 500MB. Since processing happens in your browser, larger files may take longer depending on your device's performance.
Can I add multiple lines of text?
Yes. You can enter multiple lines in the text input area. Each line will be displayed as part of the text overlay on the video.
Does the text appear for the entire video?
Yes, the text overlay is applied to the entire duration of the video. For timed text, subtitles, or animated text, check out our Video Generation API.
What fonts are available?
The tool uses the default sans-serif system font for maximum compatibility. For custom fonts and advanced typography, our Video Generation API supports any font.
